[hiatus] The Cupid Reaper : Messenger of Love and Caller of Soulsmemorize
"You don't know how long I've been craving ramen and tteokbokki, Rere." Melanie chuckled as she slurped up the said meal while she and Serena were hanging outside of Mini Stop late at night.
Serena rolled her eyes with a smirk while eating her own meal of chicken katsu. "When don't you crave anything, Mel? Especially when you want some rabokki."
"Haha, true that." Melanie than reached over and stole a piece of chicken from her sister's meal tray.
"You coul've just asked as I know you wanted to eat this, too."
"Nah. It's fun stealing food from you."
"Fattie."
"I know."
The sisters shared a laugh as they continued to talk about their day while eating their late night dinner at the convenient store like every Monday nights that they do.
Serena was snapped out of from her reverie of the past when she heard someone cough loudly. She turned to face the night clerk, Toomtam, who shot her a soft smile.
"Are you okay, Serena?" He asked as Serena slowly nodded. "Yeah, yeah. I'm fine. Just got lost in thoughts."
"Okay. Just checking since I noticed you haven't eaten the rest of your rabokki after the first bite and usually your meals are gone within seconds." He chuckled with a sheepish look.
"Ahh, right. Right." Serena said absent-mindlessly while looking down at her bowl still full of rabokki that Melanie used to eat whenever they would visit Mini Stop. "I guess it just reminded me of something from the past and I couldn't help thinking about it."
"Anything you wanna talk about?"
"No." Serena smiled at him softly. "I'm fine now. Thanks though."
"You're welcome." He smiled while shooting a thumb over his shoulder. "You know where I'll be if you need anything."
"Yeah, will do. Thanks, Toomtam."
"Welcome. See ya."
"Yeah."
Serena gave Toomtam a small wave while watching him walk back into the convenient store leaving her alone once again to stare at the bowl of rabokki.
Serena's head shot up when she heard something softly being placed onto the table and noticed a small can of guava juice now placed upon the table. Her eyes then moved to the female clerk, Sherryl, that usually worked the night shift with Toomtam standing there awkwardly.
"Um, your sister used to drink this with that." Sherryl stated with an aloof expression although there was something soft about the way her eyes looked at Serena. "I can understand the feeling of missing someone."
"Thanks." Serena shot Sherryl a small smile. "That was thoughtful of you."
